SGRI 2012 | The Transformation of the International System after the End of the Cold War

The 5th SGRI Conference (13th – 14th July, 2012) on «The Transformation of the International System after the End of the Cold War: International Relations’ Theory 20 Years after Bipolarity» was held in Trento, at the Bruno Kessler Foundation. 

The meeting hosted seven panels and two roundtables discussions: the first was on «Political Science and International Relations in Italy» and involved Leonardo Morlino (President – International Political Science Association), Sergio Fabbrini (Director, Luiss School of Government), Luca Verzichelli (Editor, Rivista Italiana di Scienza Politica), Giliberto Capano (Editor, Rivista Italiana di Politiche Pubbliche) and Alessandro Colombo (Chairman, Standing Group on International Relations).

In the second roundtable, a number of eminent international scholars such as Pierre Hassner (Sciences-Po) Christopher Hill (University of Cambridge) Josef Grieco (Duke University) Theodore Hopf (Ohio State University) and Jakub Gryiegel (Johns Hopkins University) convened to discuss «Peace and War in the XXI Century».
